The goal of the conference this past week has been to identify critical issues in the physics of higher temperature superconductivity. A discussion to try to distill these issues from the presentations at the conference is scheduled for next Tuesday morning 10AM to noon, continuing into our Wednesday 3:30 to 5:30 time slot. To facilitate that discussion we are proposing a set of summarizers/distillers for each session of the conference to lead the discussion. An efficient way to proceed would seem to be for each pair of reviewers to come with straw-man list of issues. Each topic will have a 10-minute presentation followed by 10 minutes of discussion. The proposed pairings are listed below.
Tuesday morning 10 am Aud.
• The Landscape of Higher Tc Superconductivity
Fradkin and Scalapino
• Lessons from Materials Theory/Materials Panel
Beasley and Mazin
• Pairing Mechanisms
Phillips and Tesanovic
• Spectroscopy
Randeria and Khomskii
• Emergent Spatial Structure and Its Role
Fradkin and Affleck
• Nematic Order and Quantum Criticality
A. Rosch, E. Kim and H. Kee
Wednesday afternoon 4-6 Aud
• The Role of Computation in Studying High Tc
M. Jarrell and I. Mazin
• Pnictides and Beyond
Chubukov and Scalapino
• Exotic Mechanisms of Superconductivity
Balents and Vishwanath
• The Role of Frustration in High Temperature Superconductivity
